StoreSmart Self Storage Launches Goodwill Unit
Red Deer, Alberta, 21 April 2008 - StoreSmart Self Storage today officially announced that its Goodwill Unit is now accepting donations of gently used items in support of those less fortunate in the local community. Customers of the storage center are invited to donate items they no longer need such as furnishings, clothing or toys to StoreSmart’s Goodwill Unit. StoreSmart will then redistribute these items to local organizations in need, such as the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter, Red Deer Victim Services, or the Red Deer Christmas Bureau.
“People sometimes store items they no longer need, as it is a greater inconvenience to dispose of these items than it is to just keep storing them,” said Kim Sterling, President and COO of StoreSmart.
“By offering a goodwill unit on site, customers can easily donate these gently used items and know they will get to good organizations and needy folks in the community,” she added.
StoreSmart is actively promoting its Goodwill Unit with new and existing customers and is seeking partners in the area who can assist in delivering these items when required. Interested parties should contact the storage center for further information.
StoreSmart has been in operation since June of 2007 and is Red Deer’s newest self-storage center. Its state-of-the-art facilities, conveniently located in Gasoline Alley, provide residential and commercial storage solutions for individuals and businesses in Red Deer and Central Alberta.
